Ingredients Qty
Ripe Avocado 1
Whole wheat bread, Eziekial bread, or Gluten free bread 2 slices
Everything Seasoning 1 tsp
Smart balance butter 1 tsp

Ingredients:


  • 3 cups of rolled oats ( Gluten free if applicable)
  • 2 overly ripe bananas
  • 1tbs of honey
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 2 1/4c of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 c of dairy free chocolate chips  (optional)


Directions:


  1. In a high speed blender or food processor blend oats to form a flour. This should take about 30 seconds
  2. Add the bananas, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and unsweetened almond milk.
  3. Blend on high for 1 minute or until smooth.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips or any other additive if you choose
  5. Heat skillet or frying pan with cooking spray or coconut oil.
  6. Using 1/4 c of the batter at a time cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Flip and heat for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Serve with dairy free original smart balance butter and maple syrup! 


Notes:  We used our ninja blender for this recipe! The kids approve of these healthy and quick vegan/gluten free breakfast. We also use local honey from a honey farm located in Simsbury CT! We linked the honey if you are interested in learning more about their products. We LOVE their cinnamon whipped honey and pumpkin spice!
