Ingredients Quantity
Rye Bread 2
Original Smart Balance butter 1-2TBS
Muenster Cheese 1 slice
Pepper Jack Cheese 1 slice
Tomato 2 thin slices
Oregeno sprinkle

Ingredients:


  1. Warm skillet/pan with 1tsp of dairy free smart balance original butter or cooking spray.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon butter on each slice of bread.
  3. Place the butter side down on the skillet/pan
  4. Unwrap cheese slice from packaging*
  5. Add 1 slice of bread, butter side down.  Place cheese on top. Top with the second slice of bread.
  6. Add the tomatoes and a sprinkle of oregano
  7. Cover the pan with a lid  and cook until bread is golden and cheese is starting to melt, about 6 minutes*
  8. We really like to lower the heat and let the sandwich cook slow, as this provides the BEST flavor!



Tips: 

Go Veggie American slices and Dairy Free Gouda are our favorite cheeses to use to make this dairy free option! We like to lower the heat to low/medium and cover the sandwich as it is cooking. The cheese melts perfectly this way!
