Ingredients:


  • 1 can of coconut milk ( 12/13 oz )
  • 1/3 c of nutritional yeast
  • 3 tbs of cornstarch/arrowroot/tapioca starch
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp of salt or to taste
  • pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper.


Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. Whisk for 5 minutes over medium heat until the sauce starts to boil. Continue whisking as the sauce thickens. Remove from heat when the sauce has reached desired thickness.


Tips/Tricks: This cheese sauce is perfect for nachos, quesadillas, and baked potatoes. You can really add it to anything! Try replacing this for that expensive cheese sauce you buy at the grocery store!
