POPCORN
This Popcorn is made using a Whirly Pop!
If you don't have one you certainly need to check out this amazing kitchen gadget.
It is a necessity in our kitchen!
Ingredients:
- 1/4c - 1/2c of popcorn kernels
- 3 TBS of canola oil
- 1/4 tsp of Tony Chachere's seasoning ( you can also just use salt and pepper!)
Directions:
- Ensure that your large popcorn bowl is close by or next to you on the counter before you begin the process.
- Add 3 tbsp of the oil to the bottom of the whirly pop and heat on medium to low heat until you hear the oil starting to crackle and become hot.
- Add the seasoning and then add the popcorn kernels.
- Begin cranking and continue to crank until the popcorn starts popping. You will reach a point when you cannot crank the the handle anymore. Once this happens remove from heat and dump the popcorn into the large popcorn bowl.
- Serve and Enjoy!
