This Popcorn is made using a Whirly Pop!

If you don't have one you certainly need to check out this amazing kitchen gadget.

It is a necessity in our kitchen!

Ingredients:


  • 1/4c - 1/2c of popcorn kernels
  • 3 TBS of canola oil
  • 1/4 tsp of Tony Chachere's seasoning ( you can also just use salt and pepper!)


Directions:


  1. Ensure that your large popcorn bowl is close by or next to you on the counter before you begin the process.
  2. Add 3 tbsp of the oil to the bottom of the whirly pop and heat on medium to low heat until you hear the oil starting to crackle and become hot.
  3. Add the seasoning and then add the popcorn kernels.
  4. Begin cranking and continue to crank until the popcorn starts popping. You will reach a point when you cannot crank the the handle anymore. Once this happens remove from heat and dump the popcorn into the large popcorn bowl.
  5. Serve and Enjoy!


Tips/Tricks: Drizzle melted butter on top of the popcorn or try any of these amazing recipes over at whirly pop!
