VEGAN PARMESAN CHEESE

Making your own vegan Parmesan is a lot cheaper, quick, and easy to do at home!

Ingredients:


  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 c nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • sprinkle of pepper
  •   1 Butternut Squash




Directions:


  1. Add ingredients into your food processor or high speed blender. Pulse the mixture until it begins to look crumbly but fine. Keep in mind you want the mixture to look like the store bought Parmesan but do not want chunks of cashews. Pulse until desired texture is met. 


Tips/tricks: Store in the fridge for about two weeks and then discard. This can be used on anything! We use this on our vegan enchiladas, eggplant parm, stuffed shells,
